Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer that was born in Newark, New Jersey on the 9th of August, 1963. Her parents are gospel superstars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings.
